Meet Carter, this week’s Star Student of the Week! He is 6 years old and has one younger brother. Carter’s favorite food is pizza. He likes the color orange. When Carter grows up, he wants to be a builder of BIG buildings! His favorite books are the Magic Treehouse books. We are so glad to have him in our classroom!
Meet Lydia, our Star Student of the Week! Lydia is 6 years old. She has two older sisters. Her favorite food is tacos and taco salad. She likes the colors pink, purple and blue. When Lydia grows up, she would like to be an Art Teacher. Her favorite books are Magic Treehouse. We are so happy to have her in our classroom!
What fun we had today during our Writing Celebration! We just ended our 2nd unit of study in writing and we decided to pair up with Mrs. VanderStel’s Kindergarten Class to share the hard work we have done. The Kindergarteners also had a piece to share with us! We were amazed at how far we have come since being Kindergarten writers and we really liked showing them how much they will grow as they progress through the year and onto 1st grade! Your child brought home their published (and typed) piece to share with you. They may choose to keep it at home or bring it back to school to place in our book corner for our classmates to read all year long! Below is a slideshow of pictures from our fun celebration!

Meet Annalise, this week’s Star Student of the Week! She is 7 years old. She has 2 older sisters and 1 older brother. When she grows up, she would like to be a Veterinarian. Her favorite color is red, well…maybe all of the colors except orange! Her favorite book is Anastasia. We are so lucky to have her in our class!

Meet Kalle, this week’s Star Student! She has one older sister and one younger sister. She loves the color blue and wants to be a nurse when she grows up. Kalle loves the Magic Treehouse books and her favorite food is anything breakfast! We are so glad to have Kalle in our classroom!
